Dr Sally Kimpson can be your voice and your advocate when you are unable.

She can help you and your family adjust to a change in health by

  • helping you and your family understand how it all works
  • helping you to cope with your altered health.


Individual Services

Navigation of acute and community-based health systems.

Advocacy, communication assistance, and liaison with physicians, including attending medical appointments with you when requested.

Education about specific conditions and treatment options.

Translation of medical & health and insurance, assistance with completing forms and research into both traditional and alternative treatments & modalities.

Emotional support for losses associated with a new diagnosis, change in physical or cognitive capacity, or degeneration over time, including cultivating mindfulness as a resource for living well with illness.

Locating appropriate alternate professional services and referral as needed.

Linking clients with community resources including alternative health care modalities that can help improve quality of life.

Chronic disease management including pain and symptom management.

Detailed tracking of medical condition, medications and symptoms.

About Dr Sally Kimpson

Dr Kimpson has been a Registered Nurse for over 40 years, and has been working with people living with chronic illness and disease for 25 years.

Dr Kimpson’s PhD in Nursing and Education focused on disabled women’s experiences with income support systems. She also lives with her own chronic episodic condition, giving her a complete understanding of the medical and insurance systems from the inside out.   Her graduate degree and lengthy practice in counselling enables her to support her clients more deeply. Sally also practices mindfulness-based approaches.
